PREMIUM STRAWBERRIES GROWN IN MARLBOROUGH NEW ZEALAND

We are growers of premium strawberries in Blenheim, Marlborough.

We aim to:

"produce the best quality strawberries in New Zealand and to get them to the customer as fresh as possible."

14,000 visitors come each year to buy strawberries from our farm gate.

Every year we are the first strawberry growers in New Zealand to produce fruit. In 2010 we were in full production by the end of August! Snow on the peaks around us didn't worry the healthy plants growing in a snug and natural environment in the glass house. Beautiful big spray-free fruit with intense flavour are available from August through January.

Our Strawberry Shed theme shop is open from 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday and from 1pm to 5pm on Monday. We can receive groups and special visits by arrangement outside these hours.

Look for the big red strawberry as you walk up the path to our picnic area and shop. We serve delicious ice-creams and frozen yoghurt flavoured with our own fruit. Enjoy a game of French petanque on our mini court and you are welcome to bring your own picnic to our gardens. Refreshments and gifts available in our shop.

This is the home of the famous DESIRE King berry, much appreciated by caterers and restaurant chefs and available at selected urban outlets in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.

Come enjoy the Marlborough Farmers Market

We have been at the Farmers market since late November, and we really enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere each Sunday morning. It has been great to see so many of our regulars at the market, when we generally have a bit more time to chat.

For those of you who haven't been to the Market, I highly recommend coming along one Sunday. It is a great place to find some quality, fresh local produce, as well as pick up a cooked Sunday Breakfast and cup of coffee. All in all a brilliant way to start a lazy Marlborough Sunday.

While you are there, make sure you visit Wayne at the Fruit freeze stall. His freezes are 100% real fruit (we can vouch for the quality of the strawberries) and taste great on the hot summer morning we have been having.
